What Yoseri collects, why, where it lives and for how long. A policy is judged on its limits: they are written here, not implied.
Three families, and nothing else: your account identity (email, language, currency); your financial data (balances, transactions, documents, receipts, manual entries); technical logs (timestamps, device type, errors).
No location, no address book, no advertising identifier.
To run the service you asked for: display your accounts, work out your findings, keep your documents, bill a subscription and answer a support email. No advertising purpose, no resale, no commercial profiling.
Reading a receipt and understanding a question asked of Yori happen on your device. An optional setting — advanced understanding, off at installation — sends only the sentences that were not understood, after names are replaced with tokens: no amount, no date, no merchant name leaves.
Your transactions are not used to train any model, neither ours nor a third party’s.
Three categories, bound by contract and with no right of secondary use: hosting (in Canada), read-only banking aggregation, and payment processing. None receives more than its function requires, and the named list is provided on request.
Your data lives as long as your account lives. Technical logs are erased after 90 days. Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires. After the account is closed: immediate deletion, and removal from backups within 30 days.
AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, restricted and logged internal access. In the event of an incident presenting a serious risk, we notify the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information, without waiting for the resolution.
Access, rectification, deletion, withdrawal of consent, portability, and lodging a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec. The full export is available from the app, with no formality; any other request receives an answer within 30 days.
