Free is not a limited version.

Manual entry gives the same budget, the same calendar and the same debt plan as the paid plan. What you pay for is not having to type anything.

Free for life with manual entry Private beta on October 1 · 50% off Cancellation in two taps

Yoseri is not open yet outside Canada.

This page describes the product as it works in Canada. The pension plans, the tax shelters and the connected banks here are Canadian: they do not transpose. Where you are, it would rather be the local public plan, with the local tax shelters as tax shelters and your tax administration opposite.

We do not claim to know those rules today — connecting them is work, not a translation. Tell us where you are: the order in which markets open is decided there.

Three plans

Zero, $8.99 or $17.99 a month.

One thing alone separates the first from the second: who fills in your statement. The rest is identical.

Every amount on this page is in Canadian dollars. Yoseri bills in CAD; prices for other markets will be published when those markets open, not before.

The real cost

Syncing comes with an invoice. Free does not.

This is not a commercial choice dressed up as generosity. The moment you connect a bank, someone sends Yoseri a bill.

The aggregator

Three connections, 4,380 reads a year.

In Jules’s case, three institutions are connected — Desjardins, National Bank and their broker — and the authorisation allows that data to be refreshed four times a day, for as long as they have not revoked access.

  • 38 institutions available: banks, credit unions, cards and brokers
  • Four refreshes a day, per connection
  • Up to 24 months of history imported on connection
  • Revoking cuts the bill the same day — it is immediate

Three connections × four refreshes × 365 days = 4,380 reads a year. It is the only cost item the free plan never triggers.

Why free holds up

No credentials, no calls, no invoice

With manual entry, Yoseri asks for no banking credentials and contacts no aggregator.

What the subscription pays for

4,380 reads, 24 months of history, 9 findings

And a person at the other end: support answers within one business day, with an average of four business hours, in French and English.

What it gave Jules

$756 a year on their first finding

Two recurring charges totalling $62.98 a month, active for eleven months.

Principles

What your money does not buy.

Some things no plan unlocks, and others no cancellation takes away. Both lists are short and they do not move.

A paid security feature

Revocation, deletion, full export and read-only are in all three plans. There is no “security” tier, no “enhanced privacy” option, nothing to tick for a surcharge.

The right to move your money

No transfer, no payment, no purchase, at $0 as at $17.99 a month. It is the authorisation requested from your bank that forbids it technically, not a setting a subscription could open.

Advice

Yoseri produces findings — nine this month. Each carries its period, its sources and its confidence level. Paying more does not buy a recommendation: it opens up calculations, not opinions.

A place in a ranking

No institution can pay to appear among the 38 connections, or to be better placed in a comparator. Yoseri receives no commission from any player it displays.

What stays free for life

Unlimited manual entry, the eight templates, the seven envelopes, the calendar and the repayment plan. With no card on file and no banking credentials: it is the most private mode in the app.

What stays true when you leave

The full export: 2,461 rows, 6 files, 1.2 MB, sent by email with a link valid for 24 hours and protected by your password.

No price on this page is a ballpark: these are the exact amounts you will pay, plus taxes. And what Yoseri does not know, the Security page says. Read the limits we own up to

Billing

One billing state, everywhere.

The plan shown in the app is the one the server bills. Being on the free plan and being charged at the same time is impossible by construction — not thanks to somebody’s vigilance.

On free

There is nothing to charge.

The billing screen of a free account fits on two lines, and they say the same thing: charged to date, $0.00; payment method, none.

  • No payment method asked for to create an account
  • No opening, closing, export or late fee
  • The only line on your bill is your plan

The first month

No trial. The free plan never stops.

A thirty-day trial would have promised twice over what the Statement plan already gives — the same budget, the same envelopes, the same debt plan, for life and with no card. What you pay for is never typing anything again. The first month of that is half price.

  1. Today — you start free

Envelopes, calendar, debt plan, goals. No card, no time limit: the Statement plan never stops.

    $0, for life
  2. The app is not open yet

Nothing starts before your access arrives: 1 October for the private beta, 1 November for the public one.

    Before opening
  3. The day you connect a bank

Syncing four times a day, the three investment classes, the savings rule tracked and the sourced findings. The first month is half price.

    $4.50 the first month
  4. The second month — the normal price

$8.99 a month, no commitment — unless you are on the waiting list: the first 350 keep $4.50 for as long as their subscription runs. You can go back to Statement whenever you like: nothing is lost, manual entry picks up where syncing left off.

    $8.99 — or $4.50 for beta testers

  • No retention offer after the button
  • No call, no form, no last-chance pop-up
  • The “Stay for now” button sits beside it, at the same size

Straight questions

Before you take out your card.

The six questions that come up most, with the answers we would give on the phone.

Why is syncing paid for?

Because it really does cost money. Yoseri lives on its subscription and nothing else: no advertising, no commission, no data sold on.

Will free become paid one day?

Manual entry triggers no invoice: no credentials requested, no aggregator called. It is not a lure to keep going for a year, it is the cheapest mode to run in the whole app.

Why is the amount charged higher than $8.99?

$8.99 is the price of the plan before taxes. The applicable taxes are added to the charge, and they depend on where you live.

What happens if I stop paying?

You switch automatically to the Statement plan. You keep accounts, budget, envelopes, debts and your whole history, including the 24 months imported during the subscription.

Is Yoseri+ worth the extra $8?

Only if you track investments. Four of the six families are identical at $8.99 and at $17.99: Accounts, Budget, Savings and Debt.

And referrals?

One month free for you and one for the person referred, only after 30 days of real use on their part. Signing up pays nothing, and neither does connecting a bank.

Start free. Stay if it is useful.

Four minutes, no banking credentials required, and you can stop at any step.

If you leave before creating an account, nothing is left: your answers live on your device.
