Yoseri is not open yet outside Canada.
This page describes the product as it works in Canada. The pension plans, the tax shelters and the connected banks here are Canadian: they do not transpose. Where you are, it would rather be the local public plan, with the local tax shelters as tax shelters and your tax administration opposite.
We do not claim to know those rules today — connecting them is work, not a translation. Tell us where you are: the order in which markets open is decided there.
Can Yoseri move my money?
No, and that is not a marketing promise: bank connections are set up read-only. No path in the code can initiate a transfer, a payment or a withdrawal.
Are my banking credentials kept?
No. Authentication happens at your bank, which returns a limited access token. Yoseri keeps the token, never your password. You can revoke access from your bank’s portal or from the app.
Where is my data hosted?
In Canada, encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3. No replication outside the country.
What happens if I close my account?
You export everything — statements, documents, receipts, notes — then deletion takes effect immediately. Backups stop containing your data after 30 days.
My bank is not on the list. Can I still use it?
Yes. An account can be entered by hand — balance, rate, monthly payment — and it counts toward net worth like the others. You can also import a CSV statement.
How often do balances update?
Several times a day, depending on what the institution allows. The last update date is shown on each account: if it is old, you see it.
Why does a transfer between my accounts not show up as an expense?
Because it is not one. Yoseri pairs the two lines and cancels them out, while leaving them visible. The details are on the Statements page.
Is the free plan time-limited?
No. It stays free, with no end date and no credit card asked for. What it includes.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, in two taps in the app. Access runs until the end of the period already paid, then the account falls back to the free plan — your data stays.
Do prices include taxes?
Amounts shown are in Canadian dollars, before GST and QST. The invoice lists the two taxes separately.
Does Yori give me financial advice?
No. Yori produces findings: calculations made on your own data, with their method shown. It recommends no product and does not tell you what to do.
What does the confidence level mean?
It says how much data the finding rests on. “Very high” means twelve months of complete history; “medium” flags a missing data point or a default assumption.
Is my data used to train a model?
No. Your transactions are not used to train any model, neither ours nor a third party’s.
